Meeting was called to order at 7:02pm by Mike Lewis

• Beer introductions commenced after the toast from James Harvey.  15 beers were introduced from 10 brewers.
• Motion was made by James Harvey and seconded by David Johnson to approve the minutes from the October 2025 Chapter Meeting.  Motion carried unanimously.
• Justin Hart presented a financial report and announced he had collected dues from 26 members.  We have $3,540.94 on hand. 18 members are also paid AHA members.  Please double-check that Ozark Zymurgists is listed as your primary club for the AHA
• Old Business
  • The November Social will be held on 11/22 starting at 12:30pm at Greenhouse Aleworks in Rogers (113 S. Second Street)
  • Darin Dickson announced the winners of Q3 Iron Brewer: 1st – Steve Offutt, 2nd – Randy Germann, 3rd – Ty Weston (FLOPS)
  • Darin Dickson announced the current top three in the BotY standings: 1st – Doc Farmer, 2nd – Steve Offutt, 3rd – Randy Germann
  • Various members reviewed community events from the past month.
  • Christmas Party Committee 2025:  Holiday Celebration is set for December 7 starting at 2:00 PM at the Fermentary.  FLOPS will be joining us and contributing.  Alex Smith, Keith Linn, Jason Kanak and Steve Offutt volunteered to help make the holiday beer at Black Howler.  The Black Howler Winter Warmer brew day will be on 11/8 starting at 1pm-ish if you want to be there to watch.  
  • New Membership Committee: David Johnson talked about placing AHA flyers in Benton County businesses advertising the club (Anuway, craft breweries).  He is also thinking about how we might execute a raffle for a home brewing kit to attract new members.
    • MOTION: Darin Dickson made a motion to allocate $100 to the New Membership Committee to purchase flyer holders and AHA flyers to distribute in Benton County.  The motion was seconded by Jason Kanak.  Motion carried unanimously.
  • Mike Lewis reviewed the results of the AR State Fair.  Randy Germann and Steve Offutt both placed.  Membership discussed how we get more participation next year both in submissions and participating in judging/stewarding.  James Harvey suggested nominating a champion next year from the membership to focus on this competition.  
  • Randy Germann recapped Germannfest 2025.  Fun was had by all.  Next year will be the 30th year!
• New Business
  • Officer Nominations for 2026: Nominations will take place at December meeting for voting in January.  Please consider serving in an officer role next year.
  • Presented draft calendar of events for next year:
    • February – Frost Fest (Fayetteville)​
    • ?? – Women’s Shelter Fundraiser (Rogers)​
    • May – Art of Homebrew Showcase (Siloam Springs)​
    • July – HAM Hop Off (Little Rock)​
    • October – Little Rocktoberfest (Little Rock)​
    • October – Arkansas State Fair (Little Rock)​
    • October – NWA Oktoberfest (Rogers)​
    • November – Germannfest​
    • December – Holiday Party
  • Need to check on any AHA events and New Province King for a Day
• Education Session began at 8:05
  • Kevin Richter gave a presentation on his Burst Carbonation rig.
