Membership Attendance: 13 of 26 Present (No Quorum)

Meeting was called to order at 7:04pm by Mike Lewis

• Beer introductions commenced after the toast from Mike Lewis.  16 beers were introduced from 11 brewers/teams.
• Motion was made by Mike Lewis and seconded by Justin Hart to approve the minutes from the December 2025 Chapter Meeting.  Motion carried unanimously.
• Justin Hart presented a financial report (no details recorded). Please double-check that Ozark Zymurgists is listed as your primary club for the AHA.
• Old Business (7:15pm)
  • Election of Officers
    • Randy Germann and Doc Farmer were appointed Inspectors of Election
    • Election was held by the members present with the following unofficial results:
      • President: Mike Lewis
      • Vice President: Rusty Cramer
      • Treasurer: Andy Langston
      • Secretary: Darin Dickson
      • Social Chair: Steve Offutt
    • Due to lack of quorum, the current officers will serve in their roles until the unofficial slate can be ratified at the next meeting with a membership quorum
  • All other old business was deferred due to lack of quorum
  • Oz Monthly Social will be at Bike Rack Brewing in Bentonville on 1/17 at 1:23pm
  • Iron Brewer turn in will be 1/15 at the FLOPS meeting
• New Business (7:40pm)
  • Present membership discussed the calendar of sanctioned events.  Without a quorum, no decisions were made.
  • Frost Fest Club representation was decided.  Steve Offutt, Kevin Richter, Randy Germann and Darin Dickson will attend. 
  • Larry McCallister gave an update on the status of brewing at The Fermentary.  Cider is fermenting, first beer will go in the fermenter this week.  
  • Marsha Farmer thanked The Fermentary for the Christmas party venue.  
  • Randy Germann thanked Justin Hart for karaoke at the Christmas party.
• Education Session
  • In lieu of a programed educational session, the membership discussed possible future topics:
    • Sensory kit training
    • Use of AI in brewing
    • Pressure Fermentation
    • Effect of pH on various processes  
• Brewer of the Month
